Trimmed and ready to rock. Or something.

So today Foxy got a new trim. Hopefully this will help her out. She trotted mostly sound afterwards AS ALWAYS HAPPENS WHENEVER SOMEONE IS LOOKING FOR CAUSES OF LAMENESS. Argh! When I had the vet out she did the same thing. Bastards.

So anyways, here are her feet after her trim.

And her legs.

And her body although this is a slightly funky angle so she looks goofy. Oh well.

At least she was relatively well behaved. She is a goober.

She toes out in the back and her feet land funny when she walks. Her rear hooves always flare out and the lady thought it was because of how she walks. She is crooked! There was nothing obviously wrong other than maybe not the best trim job....but one hoof does pinch in on the inside heel..contracted heels? Maybe. We will see how she moves with a few of these trims under her belt.

Hey,
sorry to hear about your soundness issues. I had a horse with the same deal. I found a yahoo group for founder/navic really helped. Also, a guy named keith seeley has a GREAT protocol for healing horses up from this.
www.keithseeley.com. Check him out if you hit any walls. He is non conventional, but KNOWS HIS STUFF!!!

Good Luck!!!
